ID:NE Using DESQview on a Network
Quarterdeck question - 3/15/89 Joe Wilder
The most common way is to load network drivers and log on to the network
from a workstation before going into DesQview. You then have network
drives and services available through all DESQview windows.
Alternately DESQview can be run from a public or private area on a shared
network drive. (See Appendix C in the DesQview Manual)
Notes:
1. DESQview is not to be run on a workstation that is also a file server.
2. DESQview and Network overhead in the 640K conventional memory area can
sometimes be reduced if you have available extended or expanded memory.
3. Each copy of DESQview is only licensed for use on one PC or workstation.
A DESQview program must be purchased for each workstation using it.
